For Those Foreknown

A theology of sovereign grace in verse

For those foreknown before all time (Romans 8:29; Ephesians 1:4; 1 Cor. 2:7)

The Lamb was slain to save (Revelation 13:8; John 1:29)

He bore the cross, despised the shame (Hebrews 12:2; Isaiah 53:5)

For Sin, His blood has paid (Revelation 5:9; 1 Peter 1:18)

His death alone accomplished all (John 19:30; Hebrews 10:14)

While dead, gave life to me (Ephesians 2:1–5)

By sovereign grace I heard His call (John 6:44; 2 Timothy 1:9)

Christ only is my plea (Acts 4:12; 1 Timothy 2:5)

By grace I stand, through faith I come (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 5:1–2)

This faith, by grace received (2 Peter 1:1; 1 Timothy 1:15)

May God forbid, if I should boast (Galatians 6:14)

Of anything by me (1 Corinthians 1:29–30; Galatians 6:14)

To God alone be endless praise (Romans 11:36; Jude 24–25)

No work of mine remains (Romans 3:27–28; Titus 3:5)

Soli Deo Gloria (1 Timothy 1:17; Revelation 5:12–13)

Grace alone has saved (Ephesians 2:5, 8–9)
